Are your bike tours safe?
Yes! Our tours are perfectly safe, as we stay primarily on bike lanes, footpaths, sidewalks, and riversides throughout the city. Our local guides really know Paris and will help you navigate the city landscape with ease.

Are your tours in English?
Yes! All of our tour guides speak excellent English, as our number one priority is to provide great insider tours for English speaking visitors. Our guides have lived in Paris for years, can speak great French as well, and will be sure teach you a few useful phrases along the way!

How many people are on your tours?
At Bike About, we think it’s important to keep our groups small (usually no more than 12 people to 1 guide), in order to give travelers the best tour service in the city, with the best value. We are not a tourist processing plant. We care. Ohhh! you can feel the love!! But seriously, this way we are able to answer questions, tell stories, and get to know our customers better than most other companies.

What happens when it rains?
Because Paris is an amazing city to experience no matter what the weather conditions are like, we offer our tours rain or shine. Remember all those romantic movies of Paris in the rain? We have ponchos for everyone, just in case!

What about other Paris Tours?
It’s true, Paris does have other tours. But why spend all day on a slow, polluting bus or on a tour with a guide who’s only been in Paris for a few months? We see more than any other tour in the city, give you the most interesting info, and have the best value you’ll find. And remember, locals always know best!

What are the best places to stay, eat, hang out, see music, etc?
We could spend all day telling you where the locals hang out, where to hear some live music, or where to sample the best French wine. We give out all that info on our tours, so feel free to ask us when you come. You can also contact us by email to find out more.

What about the kids?
Bike About tours are a great way for families to experience the Paris landscape together, and we know kids will love our cool bikes and fun guides. We are also offering special Family Tours, which are especially designed for families traveling together. If you have children younger than age 10, please do us a favor and let us know by email.

What is your cancellation policy?
At Bike About, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy for all tour changes & cancellations (to avoid being charged for the tour). We keep our groups small for our customers, so we ask that travelers let us know when their plans change.

Do you accept credit cards?
For all of our bike tours, we only accept cash (Euros - € -) and travelers’ checks in our office.

Are the bikes included in the tour price?
Yes, our trendy-city bikes are included for everyone.

Where is the meeting place for your Day Bike Tours?
Our bike tours meet everyday at 10am, 3pm, in the center of Paris, next to the Charlemagne statue right in front of Notre Dame, before a short walk to the nearby Vinci carpark where our base and bikes are.
